Spy Kids
Starring: Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Cheech Marin, and Alam Cumming
Directed by: Robert Rodriguez
Synopsis: Two kids find out that their parents are spies and when they are captured, they set out to rescue them.
My thoughts: I have to admit I had doubts that the brilliant director that brought us machine gun guitar cases, Mexican vampires, and alien teachers could do a family film that was any good, but he pulled it off just fine. In fact, this is the best and most fun a family film has been in a long time. It's mature enough for adults with moderate amounts of slapstick and fart and poopie jokes for the kiddies to giggle at. Well done overall.
