Josie and the Pussycats
Starring: Rachel Leigh Cook, Tara Reid, Rosario Dawson, Alan Cumming, and Parker Posey
Directed by: Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan
Synopsis: Film version of the popular comics in which the girls become famous rock stars and find out that their record label is putting subliminal messages in their music and set out to stop it.
My thoughts: This is a very underrated (it only opened at #7 with a measly $5 million) cool movie from the directors of Can't Hardly Wait, also a very underrated good movie. It has hot actresses, a great soundtrack, and decent storyline. It only suffers from occasional over-goofiness.
Score: 8 out of 10
