Down to Earth
Starring: Chris Rock, Regina King, Eugene Levy, and Chazz Palminteri
Directed by: Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz
Synopsis: A young black man dies but his time isn't up so he's sent back to earth but now he's in the body of a multi-millionaire old white man, and he gets a chance to make some wrong things right, fulfill his dreams to be a comedian, and to get the girl of his dreams.
My thoughts: The remake of Warren Beatty's Heaven Can Wait, has some good laughs and a lot of heart. Much of the film however is made up of Rock's stand-up routine, apparently the very same material, or so I was told. So I guess if you've seen his stand-up before, it may be somewhat of a bore. Otherwise it's really funny.
