Blow Dry

Synopsis: A husband and Wife hairdressing team gets divided in two when she runs off with their female model. Many years later, a British hairdressing competition reunites the groups and they learn that they need each other more than they know. As tragedy hits home, their goal is no longer winning the competition but coming together as a family.
My thoughts: Watching this movie was like riding a teeter-totter. The writer couldn't decide if he was writing a comedy or a melodrama. The mood switches so often and so quickly, me emotions and reactions had to change so often that I stopped caring altogether. Its both funny and depressing, but its so blended that neither leave an impact on the viewer. Hartnett's fake accent was ludicrous to top it off.
Score: 5 out of 10
