Bandits

Starring: Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thorton, and Cate Balnchett

Directed by: Barry Levinson

Synopsis: Joe and Terry are bank robbers that have escaped from prison and are bank robbing their way across America on their way to Acapulco. How do they get away with it? They kidnap the bank manager the night before and he lets them in early in the morning when there are no guards, customers, or tellers to get in the way. Along the way Terry gets hit by a woman named Kate's car, and she finds her way into their gang and into their hearts.

My thoughts: This was one of the most enjoyable and fun movies I've seen all year. The film's anti-heroes are so likeable and funny, you can't help but hope they get away with it. Billy Bob Thorton deserves an Oscar for his portrayal of Terry, the smart and sensitive hypochondriac that is the source of most of the film's big laughs. Very hilarious and plenty of action to keep your interest.

Score: 9 out of 10
